World of Warcraft mount and pet sales to benefit Make-A-Wish
World of Warcraft players can now buy a new mount as well as a pet to aid the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Blizzard tainment has announced buy WoTLK Gold.
The Alterac pet is available for purchase. Brew Pup animal ($10) this morning and the purchase will go towards Make-A-Wish. an American-based charity that allows children to make wishes for those with life-threatening medical conditions.
Players can also purchase the first-ever charity bundle from Blizzard, featuring the Pup and an all-new Enchanted Fey Dragon flying mount for just $30 which includes $5 to charity. This Enchanted Fey Dragon mount is also available to buy as a stand-alone item for $25. but no part of the profits will be donated to Make-A-Wish.
The unique World of Warcraft Make-A-Wish charity campaign runs until the 31st of December, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
It's not the first time Blizzard has held a charity event to help Make-Awish. In 2010 Blizzard gave $1.1 million for the charity. The company followed that by giving $800.000 more in 2011. through the sale of an online pet.
Blizzard also has announced a charitable giving effort to support the victims of the typhoon that recently devastated areas of the Philippines. The game's creator is matching employee donations for relief efforts in the aftermath of a typhoon provided through the American Red Cross.
