Jacob & Co. signs long-term partnership with Bugatti

Fine jewelry and fine watchmaking brand Jacob & Co today announced a seven-year partnership with Bugatti, manufacturer of arguably the world's most famous high-performance sports car, to develop a series of exclusive co-branded timepieces. The first is a limited edition, the Twin Turbo Furious Bugatti Edition. The original Twin Turbo Furious features twin triaxial tourbillons, a column wheel chronograph and a decimal chime. The Twin Turbo Furious Bugatti Edition was designed with a high-performance sports car in mind, using turquoise around the dial to pay homage to Bugatti's 110th anniversary Chiron and placing the Bugatti logo in the center of the dial. The second watch is a special edition of the sporty Epic X Chronograph called the Bugatti Édition Limitée 110 Ans. This is a commemorative edition limited to 110 pieces a year since Ettore Bugatti founded Bugatti in Molsheim in France's Alsace region in 1909. The Bugatti Edition features a special forged carbon fiber case not found anywhere else in the Epic X line, and incorporates the colors of the French flag into its bold dial design. The watch is equipped with a special rubber strap inspired by the iconic tail of the Bugatti supercar, and the "EB" logo is adorned on the buckle to commemorate the cooperation.
