Andy has been developing HTML5 products since 2010 while at Zynga, and his current social app Pepper is the first app to extensively integrate HTML5 with native code. Andy will share his experiences with HTML5, and his views for the future.

Andy Tian’s bio:
Andy is the CEO and co-founder of Asia Innovations, developer of Pepper (碰碰), a new “gamified” mobile social app for the post 1990’s young audience. PengPeng launched in June 2014 in China, and recently surpassed 30mln users, making it one of the fastest growing social apps world wide. Pepper is the first Chinese mobile social startup to be featured on both CNN and WSJ. Pepper is also the first app to use HTML5 extensively, and created the record for highest traffic HTML5 game in
the world in 2015: peak daily page views of over 180mln.

Prior to cofounding Asia Innovations in Jul 2013, Andy was GM of Zynga
China and oversaw Zynga’s Asia business, after his social app startup
was acquired by Zynga in 2010. Previously, Andy headed up mobile
business for Google China between 2005-7, when he introduced Android to
China. He was also a consultant in mobile industry at BCG, and was
involved in several startups in Silicon Valley and China. Andy studied
CS at MIT and grew up in New York.
