I don’t think copy and paste these contents of the book is a good idea ! Why don’t you translate these contents and explain it in your words. Everybody will love it instead of these wall of “not-easy-to-understand” texts. Not all of DHN members can understand English perfectly.
And you know? If people could had understand English very well, they would have downloaded the book and read it. Why they have to wait everyday for a small English content which they can read it in a few minutes?
I don’t think so. You think all of diễn đàn members can read contents in few minutes, but they have enough time to find and read this important contents, don’t they? because Clean code has many pages.
@nguyenchiemminhvu just review this important contents for everybody. Moreover, if you are a programmer, you must be able to read english documents.
In “Clean Code” ebook, we don’t need to read every content, a few topics are not important. I’ll aggregate some of valued information.
And why i don’t translate to Vietnamese? If we are programmer, we need to understand english for our jobs. The vocabulary in this book are not hard to understand. ( And i afraid i can’t understand exactly what the author want to present )
I used to encounter with many problem, when i read english. But i keep tranning for a few months, at least, now i can read this book. You can download this book and read lonely, i don’t care, because i just read it every day ( before i go to sleep ). When i copy and paste, that mean i read the content twice.
Everyday, with a small content, we can keep it in mind. Do you make sure you will remember and follow the standard that this book gave if you try to finish as soon as possible?
Moreover, if you are a programmer, you must be able to read english documents.
Then if a person is a programmer, that one should learn how to find the main idea of the book or a content. Programmer don’t wait for anything or anyone, duh. And I’m 100% sure that all of Vietnameses learnt how to do that within 12 years at school, right?
When i copy and paste, that mean i read the content twice
So it means that if I copy and paste about one hundred times, I’ll read it one hundred times? ô-o
And you should know, translating and writing it down means reading it 3 times not twice.
In “Clean Code” ebook, we don’t need to read every content, a few topics are not important.
How do you know which one is important, which is not?
I believe an author of this book is a professional one and nothing is not important. If it were, the author wouldn’t have brough it into this book
And why i don’t translate to Vietnamese? If we are programmer, we need to understand english for our jobs.
I know you would say this.
I do agree that a programmer must know English.
I would have no idea if you have posted these contents in “Share” section.
However, you posted in “Dev Chat” section and it seem like no one want to chat chit in here, in this post.
That’s why I recommended you to translate it into Vietnamese and explain it in your own words. Everyone can understand it, can discuss about it. If your translation were not good, someone fix it for you. And guess what, your English is better.
How do you know which one is important, which is not?
That’s what we frequently use.

People can make mistake.
You are Regular person, that mean you can edit tag my topic and you should do that instead of.
I just want that topic become more easier to understand so that people can read and discuss about it :c
That’s a way people learn from another (I think so xD)
That’s why I write down my idea too
Because at the first time I have read it, I thought your idea was posting some small contents and let people discuss about it.
Translate or not? I think it depends on your purpose
If translate, you want to help people approach knowledge faster, and help more people (who don’t know English)
If not, you want to remind people “English is very important with dev, practice it!” and “Read Clean code, It is a good book, and these are important parts of it”
But with second purpose i think you don’t have to copy the content of that book and a post to introduce important parts of that book is enough
Maybe because it’s in English
Why don’t you create a new topic? That one will be in Vietnanese and you will explain it in your own word. Make it funny! English post is still there, and post English content parallel with Vietnamese one, no need to delete.
I pretty sure everybody will love it.
And about translation? Well, I guess I can help a little bit
This just a small job i usually do before go to sleep.
It’s not spent much time from me. But this topic similarly an open project, everyone can contribute.
Just open Clean Code ebook, choose a part and translate it for everyone.
I need to fix my post in that topic first.
It’s just an introduction of this book. We will dive into each part everyday.
Good Job, I will follow
This is a good topic, keep it up the good works

Do you need help? Don’t do it alone (except you want to do it alone :P) there are a lot of people around can help you :>
